about

Shucks, I do like you after all.

Contains a sample from "Annie Hall" (Dir: Woody Allen, 1977, United Artists).

lyrics

And we know, we know what makes us tick tick tick
And talking about the weather leaves us cold,
But we're warming up to one another
And our closest friends are noticing the pull
Gravitational

And we're optimistic scientists deciphering this chemistry
And we're fatalistic journalists uncovering this mystery
And when the darkest nightfall clouds our way
We shall be superhuman
We will be superhuman
We will be superhuman, you and I.

And we'll call each other by such stupid nick nick nicknames
But we're way too smart to be each other's pets.
We're warming up to one another
And our hopes and dreams are harmonizing
It's mellifluous

And we're atheistic cynics praying for a miracle
And we're Los Angelistic winter babies skating on thin ice
And when our adversaries storm the gates
We shall be superhuman
We will be superhuman, you and I.

Panel by panel, our tale unravels.
May our ink never run dry!

And we're hedonistic exhibitionists grown chaste with doubt
And we're narcissistic misanthropes giving love just one more shot
And when our habitat is under siege,
We shall be superhuman
We will be superhuman
We will be superhuman, you and I.
