about

Best summer ever.

lyrics

I got a letter from the Ministry of Resources
I got a march stronger now than the armed forces
Tales from the goldfish bowl

And in this letter from the ministry of resources
Paragraph five tells of young hopes – those wild horses
Tales from the goldfish bowl

A stranger told me a sweet murder were my eyes
The farmer’s market harvested a thousand smiles
Habs score another goal!

I’ve got a mother who’s peacock proud no matter
I’ve got a best friend and he’s a solid understander
A swollen heart with soul

I got a letter from the Ministry of Resources
I got a march stronger now than the armed forces
Tales from the goldfish bowl
I’ve got a shelf full of Atwood and Murakami
I’ve got “Double Nickels”, “Innervisions”, and “Tommy”
The album, not the Broadway show

No longer fear failure, that’s just a fool’s distraction
No longer fear death, it just prevents forward action
Just gotta let it roll

I got a letter from the Ministry of Resources
I got a march stronger now than the armed forces
Tales from the goldfish bowl
I got a letter from the Ministry of Resources
O Postal Service, may godspeed, `cause it’s important
Tales from the goldfish bowl
