about

Only you can destroy yourself.

lyrics

Your singing bowl's marked with crosses,
You lick your wounds and losses
"Boy, when will you ever learn? It's not that bad."
You think the masses are savages
Their thoughts are destined to ravage you and peel your layers,
And leave you bare.

`Cos there's a glitch in your mindset,
There's a blur in your vision
There's a cheat in your union
Just ask the world and her boyfriend and they'll tell you the same.

You can't stop clicking and counting
Your even numbers surmounting
"Boy, when will you ever learn? Digits won't stop."
You're tearing patches and patches
Your skin is red and it scratches,
"Lord, when will it ever stop? It leaves us scared."

`Cos there's a glitch in your mindset
There's a hole in your spirit
There's a rip in your seamline
Just ask the world and her tailor and he'll tell you the same

There's a glitch in your mindset
You want to heal but can't force it
This food is bad - and in such small portions
There's a world in your mindset
That's growing colder and stagnant
And it's a world that's in crisis
And it's killing you, oh god, it's killing you.

`Cos there's a glitch in your mindset
There's a crack in your faultline
There's a leak in your engine,
Just ask the world's worst mechanic and he'll tell you the same.

There's a glitch in your mindset
You want to heal but can't force it
This food is bad - and in such small portions
There's a world in your mindset
That's growing colder and stagnant
And it's a world that's in crisis
And it's killing you, oh god, it's killing you.
